Goal: Get aknowledgment (and help) with a non-physical illness/disability (i.e. a mental illness, learning disability etc.)
Obstacle: Opinions of family and
close friends (of the protagonist), unable to find help.

What's Important: Giving a voice to the younger generation in the black/'foreign' community, mostly within their family but also society as a whole.
-
- The protagonist of my film will, as conventions of social realism dictates, an 'unknown actor'. Someone who simply looks, talks and acts as any other person. -
My film will consist almost entirely of diegetic sound, with very little - if any - non-diegetic sound or music. This is a stylistic choice as I wish to emulate the down-to-earth and often sobering mood of other social realist films. Considering the locations of my film, sound in my film will be mostly dialogue with ambient sound such as:
- incoherent mumbling of off-screen people
- cars driving past distantly
- any construction happening nearby
